Who & What are The Gentlemen Crafters all about?

The Gentlemen Crafters Design Team (#TGCDT) are a group of male independent Stampin’ Up! demonstrators and we share what we love every 2nd Friday of each month. Make sure you check out the rest of the Design Team’s creative projects from the photo links at the end of this post.

Barry’s Never Ending Card

I’ve wanted to make one of these cards for a while but as usual time goes by so quickly and I’ve not done one, that is until now.

The Never Ending Card is actually very easy to do and I’ve not seen many done the way I’ve done mine. Most Never ending cards I’ve seen use several pieces of paper stuck together to create the fancy fold. My version only uses one 8×8 piece of card stock + Designer series paper to decorate & a small piece of Whisper White card stock.

To make it easier for you to follow I’ve created a “How To” video which you can watch below. You’ll also find more photos of the finished project below.

Never Ending Measurements

  • 8″x8″ Purple Posy Card Stock
  • 12 x 1-13/16″ (4.5cm) Best Dressed Designer Series Paper
  • 4 x 1-13/16″ (4.5cm) Whisper White

Jay’s Box Sleeve

I decided to create a box sleeve for Barry’s Never Ending Card using his choice of Best Dressed DSP for inspiration on my colours.

The flowers from Forever Lovely stamp set were stamped in 2nd Generation in Highland Heather and Mint Macaron inks. The splatters were created using Night of Navy Stampin’ Blends Marker.

The focal flower comes from Little Ladybug set, coloured in blends markers and die cut with the Ladybug Dies. I did another piece of die cut in Basic Black card, stacked underneath the coloured imaged for a more intense shading. From the dies set, I also cut 5 smaller flowers to decorate the front before finishing with the hand drawn border.

We hope you enjoyed our projects with the FREE Sale-A-Bration host Little Ladybug Stamp Set and coordinating dies along with other current Stampin’ Up! products.

Thanks again for stopping by. Until next time, BYEEEEE!

A very clever take on the Neverending Card Barry. I have not seen this particular fold before – only the one with two pieces and a VERY complicated gluing system…. I like this very much. Nice design on the pocket Jay. It all coordinates so well. Good job again guys!

I love the never-ending fold. Recipients of clever cards like these are always so impressed you’ve made it yourself.
