Breathtaking Bouquet Spotlight

Thank you for stopping by and welcome to Mitosu Crafts UK. I am sharing a card project with the new Breathtaking Bouquet stamp set from Stampin’ Up! Mini Catalogue 2020.

Paper Craft Crew Challenge #PCC372

The new card sketch challenge #PCC372 from Paper Craft Crew inspired the spotlight idea on my card. The Breathtaking Bouquet is a Background Stamp full of floral imagery which can be daunting to colour. So I focused on the largest flower only.

I clear embossed on Very Vanilla card and die cut with the largest Layering Circle Dies. Coloured with Watercolor Pencils and Aqua Painters then once dried I went over with the pencils again to add more depth.

The highlights were achieved with the White Stampin’ Chalk Marker before adhering on the Pretty Peacock cardbase and Bermuda Bay card strip.

To continue following the card sketch, I added the Blackberry Bliss punched leaves, Highland Heather sequins from Gingham Gala and sentiment from Well Said stamp set. I then finished the card with hand drawn border and random dots using a pigment liner pen.
