Balloons Floating Frame Cards from Crafty Playdate

Hello and welcome to Mitosu Crafts. It’s Jay here sharing my Balloons Floating Frame cards.

My phone is constantly running out of storage and whilst going through what photos I can delete, I came across quite a few cards that we haven’t shared on our blog. This card is one of them and was created during a crafty playdate back in April!

1st Balloons Floating Frame Card

If you follow us on facebook, you may have seen photos of our play date with Sara (Crafty Little Minx) , Hilary (Wright Crafts) and Lola (Stempelritterin) ~ our naughty table buddies during OnStage local. We love spending time with these ladies, who we’d never have met if not for Stampin’ Up!

Press ‘n’ Seal Sealing Wrap

The Floating Frame technique was achieved with the help of the Press ‘n’ Seal wrap, which Sara found. I have used an alternative for an older project if you do not have this in the kitchen, which you can see HERE

The Balloon Celebration stamp set has sadly retired but the Ballon Bouquet Punch carried over to the 2019-2020 Annual Catalogue.

2nd Balloons Floating Frame Card

I used the Dauber to Stamp Technique, Stitched Rectangle Dies and the following colours to create these 2 cards…

These colours together are great for masculine projects don’t you think? I used this colour combination as inspiration for the gift packaging of Barry’s present last month too.
