It’s Jay here and I am stampin’ with Falling Flowers for the Paper Craft Crew challenge #PCC334

Welcome to Mitosu Crafts, thanks for stopping by. There’s another 2 WEEK challenge at the Paper Craft Crew blog and this time we have a lovely colour inspiration for you

Don’t you just love these colours together?! It’s so fresh and bright, great for Spring projects. I haven’t used Poppy Parade much before but I am loving this colour combination. I am sad that Lemon Lime Twist will be retiring soon though 🙁

Anyways, here is my card idea using the colour inspiration

Card Details

Cardbase: 10.5cm x 29cm folded in half at 14.5cm

Tropical Escape DSP: 2.5cm x 14cm

I stamped the images on Whisper White card and coloured with an Aqua Painter. Afterwards, I did fussy cut the leaves and flower for my card.

For quicker cardmaking, there is a co-ordinating die set for the Falling Flowers called May Flowers Dies from the annual catalogue.

I embossed the cardbase with Softly Falling folder as well as the Coastal Cabana circle die cut. The strips of Gold Foil and Tropical Escape DSP were then adhered on the left before building the topper consisting of the leaves, flower and Flax Ribbon. The sentiment came from Tabs For Everything and was snipped down to size
