Heart and Home Stampin’ Up! Still Scenes Card

The Paper Craft Crew are back and I am sharing my Still Scenes card idea for this week’s inspiration challenge.

The theme is ‘Welcome Home’ and I thought the house from the Still Scenes stamp set is perfect for this.

Heart and Home Still Scenes Card

I have shared a few card ideas with this set already along with the coordinating Snow Globe Scenes Dies. So I opted for a monochromatic colour combo this time.

The circular Smoky Slate die cut comes from the Snow Globe set and the trees were elongated by die cutting twice.

I just love the added pop of colour for the door and to make the house stand out more I used Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends Combo to darken the trees.

The sentiment was white embossed on black and also comes from the Still Scenes stamp set. I used washi tape to mask off words I didn’t need before applying Versamark ink on the stamp. Don’t forget to take the washi tape off when you stamp the sentiment!
