Thanks for stopping by to have a look at our creations for The Gentlemen Crafters Design Team hop. Today we are sharing projects using the Basic Pattern Decorative Masks. We created 3 beautiful projects which are easy to replicate yourselves at home with Stampin’ Up! products.

2019 Autumn/Winter Catalogue

The new 2019 Autumn/Winter catalogue has recently gone live and amongst all the amazing stamp sets and dies are these Basic Pattern Decorative Masks.

You can be forgiven if you have missed these masks in the catalogue because there are so many wonderful new products to look at. These masks can be found on page 35 below the Everything Festive stamp set. But they are defiantly not to be turned down and will become a great addition to your crafty stash, plus they allow you to play with lots of different techniques.

I’ve really enjoyed playing with these masks and wanted to try heat embossing through them rather than the normal go to technique which is inking.

Jay’s Bottle Tag Inspiration

These masks are so much fun to create with! We have previously shared how to create 4 Cards with 1 Stencil and the Craft White technique on our youtube live last week. So for today, I made use of Barry’s off cut from his 2nd card and created a bottle tag.

I used the Layering Circles Dies to create the hole for the tag. At the bottom, I used the Pine Tree Punch to add the jagged edging which I thought looks quite cool.

The gold embossed piece was quite small so I adhered it on a Shaded Spruce mat before adding to the Night of Navy tag. The sentiment comes from Perfectly Plaid also and was stamped with Gold Delicate ink on Very Vanilla cardstock. This card piece is wider than both the Basic Gray mat and Night of Navy tag which when wrapped on either side created the interesting curve to make the sentiment pop up!

To finish the bottle tag I added the antique brass finish leaf trinket from the Bird Ballad Trinkets set. This tag can easily be turned into a card by cutting off the top and adhering on a cardstock.
