What did she make?

Thank you for joining us for the “By Royal Appointment Guest Blog” post.  This week’s project is a Halloween Gumball machine, designed by Hilary, featuring the Stampin’ Up! Snow Globe Scenes Dies.

Halloween Gumball Machine

In August I produced a Gumball Machine using the Still Scenes bundle, here I have produced a Halloween version of this card.

This card has been produced using the Monster Bash DSP (product code 150447).  Take a look at the following video to see these lovely papers for yourself.

I love this year’s Halloween DSP, and look forward to producing more products in the next few weeks using it and the other wonderful Halloween products in the Autumn / Winter catalogue.

The sheet with the flying bat’s was used as the background layer and I have fussy cut one of the monster frames for the back of the dome.  I also created another card using the spooky newspaper print and one of the spooky castles.  Here are both these cards.

I also created a Christmas version using the Let It Snow DSP, which can be seen in the following video.

Here are three of my gumball machine creations (I think I may be addicted !).

My gumball machine card features a working sweet release mechanism, which releases a mini smartie (or equivalent sized small sweet) from the dome (the snow globe dome) to a sweet dispenser cup at the bottom of the card.  Here is the clip from my earlier card showing this action.

I have created a tutorial for the creation of this card which can be viewed on my YouTube channel.

I hope you enjoy.
