Modern Card with Smooth Sailing Die Background

Hi and welcome to Mitosu Crafts, thanks for stopping by. It’s Jay here with my DT card for Paper Craft Crew challenge using Smooth Sailing Dies.

Paper Craft Crew Inspiration Challenge #PCC345

It’s Seaside Summers inspiration this week and I concentrated on the anchor from the image above for my card topper.

Smooth Sailing Die Background

The simple striped background was achieved using the straight rope die from the set. I marked both side to guide the die placements then ran through a die cutting machine 5 times.

Card Details

• Imperial Measurements:
  • Cardbase: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/4″, score and fold halfway at 4-1/8″
  • Coastal Cabana Mat: 4-7/8″ x 3-1/2″
  • Die Cut Background Layer: 5-1/8″ x 3-3/4″, mark on both sides with 5/8″ increment
• Metric Measurements:
  • Cardbase: 21cm x 14cm
  • Coastal Cabana Mat: 12.4cm x 8.9cm
  • Die Cut Background Layer: 13xm x 9.5cm, mark on both sides with 1.6cm increment
