Oxidised Metal Technique
For my card today I decided to play with inks on foil to create an oxidised look. I wanted to somehow recreate a distressed and textured metallic element on my project. I got inky fingers playing last week with the Oxidised Metal Technique, such fun!
To showcase the metallic element on my project, I also used Amazing Life Stamp Set and Rectangle Stitched Framelits BUNDLE. I added more heat embossing and altered the cardbase dimension to have a perfect frame for the main imageThe Oxidised Metal Technique will produce random images and unique projects. I found that different foils and ink colours reacts differently, so try with off cuts first and have fun with it
Card Details
Basic Gray Cardbase 21cm x 14cm
Very Vanilla frame die cut with 2nd & 5th largest dies from Rectangle Stitched Framelits Dies
Silver Foil Oxidised Metal die cut with the 5th largest die
